As a classically trained pianist, Evan's playing is heavily influenced by the great composers and pianists of the past such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Liszt, but he is not afraid to experiment with modern sounds and techniques. He has taken pop songs and turned them into jazz and classical, and vice versa, creating a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
Evan's extensive experience in musical theatre has also had a significant influence on his playing. His performances are filled with energy and emotion, transporting his audience to another world for a brief moment in time. As The Augusta Chronicle put it, "With each show, Evan has topped the previous one."
